Security and Law Enforcement Officers that are experiencing difficulty in annual qualification will benefit from this training.

The Law Enforcement & Private Security Officer Pistol Shooting course is intended for individuals that are looking to enhance the skills required to meet mandatory annual re-qualification and to build confidence in striking your target. The training Includes classroom for firearms safety & familiarization and shooting at local range. This course is a minimum of 2 hours training. Includes 1 cycle of 48 rounds at the range, range fees, ear/eye protection and gun rental if needed.to successfully pass their annual mandatory qualification training. This course is a hands-on practical portion conducted in a classroom and shooting range with a former 35 years experience law enforcement officer and an active NRA certified Instructor.

The instructor will point out all of the fundamentals necessary to proper safely handle the firearm and to not stress during the actual qualification course.

Firearms Training for Law Enforcement – Private Security Officer and Civilians is geared to improve skills required to meet mandatory annual re-qualification and to build confidence in striking your target. The training Includes classroom for firearms safety & familiarization and shooting at local range. This course is a minimum of 2 hours training. Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers or semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Law Enforcement Instructor and/or Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor or Certified Firearms Instructor.

Once completing the training the Law Enforcement Officer / Security Officer / Civilian should learn skills that will improve their confidence in firearms and thus improve skills required to meet mandatory annual re-qualification, as well as techniques for proper aiming and shooting.

The course is taught either by a former law enforcement officer with 35 years experience and a vast array of trainings that include having served in a local SWAT team, Rapid Active Response, and others and/or an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor.
