Carlos Fojo is the lead instructor, and he holds multiple licenses issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Licensing. The licenses are as follows: class D, G, K Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor, M, C, and DI Instructor's license. Additionally, he is a Certified Instructor with the NRA to teach CCW, Pistol, Riffle, Shotgun, Personal Protection (Inside and Outside the home), Refuse to be a Victim, Range Safety Officer, and a Chief Range Safety Officer. He is also a Glock certified armorer. During his career, Carlos Fojo served 35 years in law enforcement in Miami-Dade County with the City of Hialeah Gardens Police Department. During his career he worked as a Patrolman, Investigator, Sergeant (investigations and road patrol), Lieutenant heading the Patrol and General Investigations Division. He served in units as a Motorman, Community Policing, and SWAT operator, as well as the team Commander. At his retirement in 2017, he embarked in teaching moving and shooting and remedial firearms training to the law enforcement community. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. Additionally, he holds an array of Law Enforcement certifications. He also maintains his State of Florida Low Voltage Electrical Contractors EF license. In addition, to his law enforcement training. Carlos owned and operated several businesses including Access Control, Burglar & Fire Alarm where he was the principal qualifier in the business for 21 years. In 2019, he began teaching licensing to Security Officers for class D and the companion class G license certification process. He teaches Executive Protection, and re-qualification 4 hours annual mandatory training. He also works as an advisor in the business, as well as a professional security officer. This keeps Carlos’s current in the profession of security.
