This course includes classroom and range time. As a result students will be learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. The subjects covered are rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; and cleaning the shotgun.
This course includes classroom and range time. The emphasis is on learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. The general emphasis will be on operation; parts; ammunition components; shotgun malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; and cleaning will be discussed. Course materials include a Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook. A Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student quiz will be administered. Upon completion students will receive a course completion certificate.
