Carlos Fojo

Carlos Fojo is a state‑certified Class K Firearms Instructor and the lead instructor for Florida Security Licensing & Firearms Defensive Training, Inc. He holds multiple FDACS licenses including Class D, G, K (Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor), M, C, and DI Instructor licenses.

Carlos is an NRA Certified Instructor qualified to teach CCW, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection Inside & Outside the Home, Refuse to Be a Victim, and serves as both a Range Safety Officer and Chief Range Safety Officer. He is also a Glock Certified Armorer.

With 35 years of law enforcement experience in Miami‑Dade County, Carlos served as Patrolman, Investigator, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Motorman, Community Policing Officer, SWAT Operator, and SWAT Team Commander. After retiring in 2017, he began teaching advanced firearms, moving & shooting, and remedial training to law enforcement.

Carlos has trained thousands of students in Class D, Class G, Executive Protection, and annual requalification courses. His extensive real‑world experience makes him one of Florida’s most trusted firearms instructors.

Eva Fojo

Eva Fojo is an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor and Range Safety Officer with extensive experience in firearm safety, CCW instruction, and pistol training. She holds Florida Class D and Class G licenses issued by FDACS.

Eva specializes in teaching CCW, pistol safety, and safe firearm handling for new shooters and civilians seeking confidence‑building, safety‑focused instruction. She has been active in security operations since 1996.

Her patient teaching style and extensive experience make her especially effective with new shooters and women seeking a comfortable learning environment.

Eva also serves as the Administrator for both Florida Security Licensing & Firearms Defensive Training, Inc. and Florida Security License & Defensive Training, Inc. She is widely regarded as the backbone of the business.
