Florida Class G license holders must complete a 4‑hour annual re‑qualification every year to remain in compliance with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This in‑person course includes a review of updated laws, a 25‑question exam, and a live‑fire qualification of 48 rounds at a local range. Students must achieve a minimum score of 168 out of 240, with up to three attempts provided; remedial training is available if needed.
Training is offered monthly at multiple Central and South Florida locations. All participants must hold a valid Class G license. Upon completion, you will receive your proficiency certificate via email within 72 hours, as required by the Division of Licensing.
