Daytime course.\nEvening courses are offered several times a year. The evening course is a 2 weeks training Monday-Friday 6pm-11pm (40 hours)\nSecurity Officer License D Online course is regulated by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Licensing. The security course consists of 40 hours of course work and 2 hours for the 170 questions exam. The security D license course includes an exam review and exam. \nNote: Students must be highly dedicated and responsible for the instruction of this class. This course requires the successful passing of a 170 questions exam with a 75% final score. If you must retake the exam there is a $50.00 retake fee. \nNOTE: The online version of the class D license course is strictly a proctored powerpoint based program. Our in-person class D program is a combination of power point and instructor/student interaction.  \nClass “D” Security Officer License Requirements\n  \n\n\nAny individual who performs the services of a security officer must have a Class “D” license. \nSecurity Officer Unarmed D License State of Florida Department of Agriculture Division of Licensing course consists of 40 hours of course work and 2 hours for your 170 questions exam. This course is proctored and the student must be present in class on the platform utilized with a live feed showing yourself during the entire class. \nSave your spot and click to REGISTER NOW!\nEligibility Requirements for Security Officer License D\nTo qualify for a license\, you must: \n\nBe at least 18 years old.\nBe a citizen or legal resident alien of the United States or have been granted authority to work in this country by the Department of Homeland Security\, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.\n\nTraining/Experience\nYou must submit proof of successful completion of a minimum of 40 hours of professional training provided by a security officer school or training facility licensed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. \nExceptions: \n\nIf you are a currently employed law enforcement officer\, correctional officer\, or correctional probation officer certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission\, a copy of your valid ID card issued by your employing law enforcement agency is sufficient to satisfy the training requirement.\nIf you have successfully completed a training program approved by the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission for certification as a law enforcement officer\, correctional officer\, or correctional probation officer\, a copy of your certificate of completion is sufficient to satisfy the training requirement.\nIf you qualify for a Class “DI” security officer instructor license under Rule 5N-1.138(1)(e)-(g)\, Florida Administrative Code\, proof of such qualification is sufficient to satisfy the training requirement.\nIf you received relevant military training or education during service in the United States Armed Forces\, proof of such training or education is sufficient to satisfy the training requirement.\n\n\n\n\nThis State of Florida 40 hours course and 2 hours exam time meets the State Curriculum and Certification required to obtain the Security Officer Unarmed D License.
